Jack White may produce the next Rolling Stones album, according to a report from Rolling Stone magazine. Keith Richards, speaking with the mag, says the possibility has not been ruled out.

"That's always a possibility," Richards said. "The door is wide open."

Richards and White previously worked together on several unreleased recordings in 2009. Before that, White appeared in the 2006 Stones' Martin Scorsese-directed concert film, Shine a Light.

"I don't know if [Jack] ever considered that it was actually, like, master cuts," Richards said regarding the 2009 tracks. "But at the same time if Jack wanted to [release them], I'd probably say, 'Yeah.'"

Richards added that the band is meeting in London in July to talk about future plans.

White has previously produced albums for Loretta Lynn and Wanda Jackson.
