While in Melbourne, Australia, Carrie Underwood performed a cover of INXS' "Never Tear Us Apart," as she continues to pay tribute to the various countries she performs in by covering songs by some of their hometown heroes during her worldwide Blown Away tour.
"I really respect this band," the country superstar told the audience before launching into the track, which she handled admirably, crooning and wailing her way through all of the vocal peaks and valleys in it.
While performing a gig in London last week, Underwood paid tribute to Coldplay by covering their track "Fix You."
Underwood's Australian Blown Away leg wraps next week in Sydney. The U.S. leg of her tour, which also features Hunter Hayes, kicks off September 14 in New Hampshire.
