Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin reportedly signed his divorce papers by drawing two happy faces on the official document. According to his ex-wife Jessica Nicole's attorney it's highly unusual for a divorcee to take the formality with such levity.
"It's most definitely the first time in all my years of doing this work that I've have had an opposing party sign with a smiley face on a divorce decree imposing maximum spousal support," says Nicole's attorney Brian Kramer. "It's certainly a refreshing change to see an artist who is cheerful about honoring such an obligation instead of treating it like it were the end of the world."
The pair tied the knot in 2008 and separated in 2011. They had both signed a prenuptial agreement before the wedding but Scantlin has agreed to pay Nicole $2,500 a month in alimony, claims TMZ.com. They also reportedly found an amicable way to split their assets.
