Aerosmith has been forced to postpone a show scheduled for tonight in Bristow, Virginia. Singer Steven Tyler has been sidelined with a vocal issue and is under doctor's order to rest.
"The concert will now take place on August 12th," the band's website reads.
"Aerosmith regrets any inconvenience and looks forward to returning to Jiffy Lube Live. Tickets purchased for the July 3rd show will be honored on the August 12th date."
After announcing the "Global Warming" tour in the spring, it looked as though the band's new album, Music From Another Dimension, would be out this summer. However, just last week, the band pushed the LP back to November 6.
Music from Another Dimension is the band's first album of all new material since 2002's Just Push Play.
