A new picture tweeted by Lady Gaga has sparked rumors that the Mother Monster may have had plastic surgery on her lips. The image, posted earlier this week by the singer, shows her in bed pursing her seemingly enlarged lips towards the camera.
The photo sparked off debate among Twitter fans, some of whom think it would be against Gaga's message to have plastic surgery for purely aesthetic reasons.
Last year, in an interview with Harpers Bazaar, she blasted celebs who alter their body for looks:
"I think that promoting insecurity in the form of plastic surgery is infinitely more harmful than an artistic expression related to body modification."
Gaga later stepped back from the comment, saying that maybe later in life she would consider getting some work done: "I haven't had any yet, I was born this way. But maybe after I pop out a few Gaga babies I'll be not born this way any more."
