Consumer price inflation in the Netherlands stabilized at a fourteen-month low in June, data from a survey by the Central Bureau of Statistics showed Thursday.
The consumer price inflation came in at 2.1 percent in June, unchanged from the May figure, which was the lowest in fourteen months.
Food and non-alcoholic beverages prices rose 1.5 percent annually, while clothing and footwear prices advanced 1.6 percent. Housing costs and energy prices moved up 2.7 percent compared to June last year, and transportation costs gained 2.1 percent, data showed.
At the same time, the harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP), measured under the EU methodology, grew 2.5 percent annually in June, in line with the growth recorded in the previous month.
