International Lease Finance Leases 4 New Boeing 777-300ER Aircrafts To Emirates

International Lease Finance Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of American International Group, Inc. (AIG), said Friday that it has entered into a purchase and leaseback transaction with Emirates airline for four new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin this month and will be completed by January 2013.

Colin Bole, ILFC Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa, said, "ILFC is proud to expand its existing strong commercial cooperation with Emirates. ILFC already leases to Emirates a significant number of 777 aircraft, a proven and valuable aircraft in its fleet. It is important for us to build on our relationship with Emirates - one of ILFC's largest customers and certainly one of the world's leading airlines."
