Decliners:
Darden Restaurants, Inc. (DRI: Quote) declined over 5 percent to $47.50. The company has agreed to acquire Yard House USA, Inc. for $585 million in an all-cash transaction from private equity firm TSG Consumer Partners LLC, management and investors. The company expects this acquisition to be dilutive to its net earnings per share in fiscal 2013 by approximately three to five cents and accretive thereafter.
Box Ships Inc. (TEU: Quote) declined 15 percent to $6.90 based on the news that it intends to offer and sell $30 million of its common shares in an underwritten public offering.
