Ampio Pharmaceuticals Announces Exercise Of Over-Allotment Option

Ampio Pharmaceuticals Inc. (AMPE: Quote) announced the exercise in full of the over-allotment option granted to the underwriters by Ampio and certain of its stockholders with respect to the purchase of 692,310 shares of common stock at a public offering price of $3.25 per share.

The over-allotment option is being exercised in connection with Ampio's previously announced underwritten public offering of 4.62 million shares of common stock, which was subsequently increased by 181,250 shares to an aggregate of 4.80 million such shares.

As a result of the exercise of the over-allotment option and the additional 181,250 shares of common stock purchased in the previously announced public offering, the total gross proceeds to Ampio from the offering will be approximately $16.91 million, before deducting the underwriting discount and other estimated offering expenses, Ampio said.
