Alicia Keys made an appearance in support of President Barack Obama's re-election campaign this past Monday in Philadelphia. The R&B singer showed up at a number of events across the Philadelphia area including the West Philadelphia Obama Campaign field office which was hosting the Organizing for America Volunteer event. While she was there Keys greeted fans and signed autographs.
Keys also took the stage at the Women Vote 2012 Summit to talk to voters about the importance of Obama's re-election campaign.
From the Pennsylvania Convention Center stage Keys said: "There is a brilliant fire that is shooting forth from you, and I am emblazoned by you . . . This campaign gives people a voice, and a chance to be part of something bigger than ourselves."
Afterwards, Alicia posted to Twitter: "What an inspiring day!! When we stand together theres no impossible!! @barackobama ?#women2012? Let's gooooo!!"
