James Iha, former guitarist for the Smashing Pumpkins, has released the video for "To Who Knows Where," the lead single from his first solo release in 14 years, Look to the Sky.

According to the guitarist, the vid's concept came to him while watching David Bowie's film, The Man Who Fell to Earth:

"The general idea was to allude to weird story lines that were never explained," Iha said in a statement. "I come down from another planet, there are men following me, there's a mysterious woman, and I hope to find my way back to my home planet. It's like a lot of '70s movies."

Iha's previous solo effort, Let It Come Down, was released in 1998, reaching number 171 on the Billboard 200.

Look to the Sky is due September 18.
