Application software provider Manhattan Associates Inc. (MANH) said Tuesday its Board plans to instal Eddie Capel as its chief executive officer effective January 1, 2013. Capel will replace Pete Sinisgalli, who will continue to serve on the Manhattan Associates Board.
Capel joined Manhattan Associates in June 2000. He was named chief operating officer in January 2011. The company said that effective today, Capel is promoted to president and chief operating officer, and is also appointed to the Manhattan Associates Board.
John Huntz, chairman of the Board of Manhattan Associates, said, "...Eddie Capel has proven to be a highly qualified, experienced leader, and we have great confidence he will continue to drive Manhattan Associates' market leadership and financial success."
