Tim McGraw did his part to honor to the victims of the movie theater shooting in Aurora, Colorado, in which 12 were left dead and several injured.

The "Better Than I Used To Be" singer and Kenny Chesney were scheduled to take their Brothers of the Sun tour to the area to play a show the next day about 20 miles away from where the shooting took place. After thinking it over, McGraw and Chesney decided to perform for the crowd, offering condolences to those affected by the tragedy.

"I'm thinking about y'all and we're praying for y'all," Tim shared from the stage. "Our job tonight is to come out here for just a little while and put a smile on your face, to cut loose, have a good time and have a party in remembrance of all the fine folks who lost their lives. But before we do that, we wanted to do something for you guys that we thought might lift your souls a bit."

McGraw then performed the Christian song, "More Power to Ya," before resuming to his regular set list.
