Charlie Daniels has revealed that his 11th annual Christmas 4 Kids benefit concert will take place at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium on November 19. This year's event will include appearances from Phil Vassar and Thompson Square.
The annual event raises funds to provide over 400 children from 29 schools around the Nashville area with an all-expenses-paid shopping spree during the holiday season.
The children are picked up for a ride on Daniel's very own tour bus and taken out for a special lunch and party hosted by Santa and Mrs. Claus.
After the event they are then driven to the Henderson, Tennessee Wal-Mart where they are presented with new winter coats and given $150 to spend on anything that catches their eye. The event also includes a live performance by the legendary fiddler himself.
