Dutch Output Price Inflation Slows For Ninth Month

Producer price inflation in the Netherlands weakened for the ninth consecutive month in June, data released by the Central Bureau of Statistics showed Monday.

The producer price index increased 1.3 percent on an annual basis in June, slower than the 2.2 percent rise recorded in May. The rate of growth eased regularly since September 2011, when output prices advanced 9.7 percent.

Prices of goods sold in the domestic market advanced 1.6 percent annually, while prices in the overseas market rose 1 percent. Prices in the mining and quarrying sector moved up 10.1 percent year-on-year in June, after climbing 11.7 percent in May.

Month-on-month, output prices decreased 1.8 percent in June, following the previous month's 0.8 percent decline, the agency said.
