Lynyrd Skynyrd have released a new three-disc compilation titled Southern Surroundings exclusively at Wal-Mart. The release features a live recording taped during the band's appearance on the BBC's Old Grey Whistle Test as well as digitally remastered videos.
Classic tracks featured on the live BBC set include "Double Trouble," "I Ain't The One," "Call Me The Breeze," "I Got The Same Old Blues," "Every Mother's Son," "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Free Bird." The tracks have been remastered by Grammy winning engineer Elliot Scheiner.
The news comes at a busy time for the band, who are also prepping the release of their latest effort Last of A Dyin' Breed. The album is due August 21 and the band is currently on the road in support of it.
