The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.50. Full year 2013 EPS is expected to be between $2.11 and $2.21, compared to the consensus estimate of $1.98.
CareFusion gapped open higher Thursday and has continued to rise steadily in early trade. The stock is now up 1.92 at $26.49. CareFusion has climbed to a 3-month high and has re-crossed both its 50 and 200-day moving averages.
