Aaliyah's family have not signed off on a new posthumous release from the singer in the works from Drake. The Toronto-based MC revealed plans for the new album, titled Enough Said, earlier this week.
According to Drizzy, the album will boast production from Noah '40' Shebib and will pull from material Aaliyah recorded before her death in a plane crash in 2001.
Speaking with U.K.'s Guardian, however, Aaliyah's estate has not given its blessing to any posthumous releases:
"There is no official album being released and supported by the Haughton family."
Drake has long claimed that Aaliyah is one of his greatest inspirations and has several tattoos dedicated to the singer, including an image of her face on his back.
