The Steve Miller Band is re-issuing their first five albums later this year. The San Francisco-based band has teamed up with Edsel Records to re-release the albums, which include Children of the Future (1968), Sailor (1968), Brave New World (1969), Your Saving Grace (1969) and Number 5 (1970).
The CD booklets for the albums will include a special digipak edition release with original artwork, song lyrics, and exclusive liner notes written by the San Francisco Chronicle's Joel Selvin which are based on recent interviews with Steve Miller.
All five digitally re-mastered CDs are housed in six panel digipaks. Their release date is set for October 8.
The Steve Miller Band has sold more than 30 million records in a career spanning more than 40 years.
