WaterFurnace Names Herb Batrouny SVP Of Asia Pacific To Support Chinese JV

WaterFurnace Renewable Energy, Inc. (WFI.TO, WFIFF.PK), a manufacturer of geothermal and water source heat pumps, late Friday said it appointed Herb Batrouny as the Sr. Vice President of Asia Pacific Operations. Additionally, Kevin Wu has been named Director of Engineering Asian Operations.

According to the company, the creation of these two positions in Asian region is to support its Chinese joint venture WaterFurnace Shenglong HVACR Climate Solutions.

In his new position, Batrouny will focus on two key functional areas - facilitating the joint venture and leading WaterFurnace's global supply chain initiatives.

Batrouny comes to WaterFurnace from Johnson Controls Inc. (JCI), where he served as Vice President of Unitary Supply Chain.
