Alpha Pyrenees Trust Posts Profit In Six-month

Alpha Pyrenees Trust Limited (ALPH.L) posted its results for the half year from 1 January to 30 June 2012. Profit for the period was 5.61 million pounds, compared to a loss of 88 thousands pounds in the year ago period. On a per share basis, net income was 4.8 pence, compared to a loss of 0.1 pence last year. Adjusted earnings per share declined to 1.1 pence from 1.8 pence last year.

Revenue for the period declined to 11.50 million pounds from 12.81 million pounds last year.

The company said that the dividend of 0.6 pence per share for the second quarter will be payable to the shareholders on the register as of 14 September 2012 and will be paid on 8 October 2012. This brings the total dividend for the period to 30 June 2012 to 1.2 pence per share.
