Former "Blossom" star Mayim Bialik is currently recovering from a severe car wreck in which she almost lost fingers on her left hand. The 36-year-old, who currently co-stars on "The Big Bang Theory" was driving in Hollywood when she collided with another vehicle.
Bialik was reportedly driving near the intersections of Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea Avenue when her car, a Volvo, collided with another vehicle. She was alone in her vehicle and the other car was carrying a group of tourists visiting from Chile. Both airbags in her car deployed and Los Angeles Police Lt. Andrew Neiman said she was rushed to an area hospital with "severe lacerations to her left hand and thumb."
A spokeswoman for the actress released an official statement saying "she thanks everyone for their concern." Bialik later hit Twitter to tell fans she was ok, saying: "in pain but will keep all my fingers."
