Lady Gaga announced on Twitter last week that she and well-respected MC Kendrick Lamar have collaborated on a single. The track, "PARTYNAUSEOUS," is set to drop on September 6. It will appear on Lamar's upcoming album.

"I am so excited to announce that a record I've been working on has now become a collaboration with @KendrickLamar for HIS ALBUM," she tweeted to her 28 million followers.

"@KendrickLamar and I are dropping the record on SEPT. 6. It's called PARTYNAUSEOUS," the Mother Monster later added.

Last month, at Chicago's Pitchfork festival, Gaga praised the Compton MC, asking, "Can your new album come out now so i can go out to clubs and dance again?"

Speaking with the Source at the fest, Kendrick said he hoped the pair's relationship would blossom: "God willing. For now I just like the friendship thing."
