Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw and Luke Bryan have been added to the lineup of the 2012 MDA Labor Day Telethon. All proceeds from the event, called the MDA Show of Strength, go to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Other celebrities set to appear include Smokey Robinson, Steven Tyler, Gavin DeGraw, Alanis Morisette, Hot Chelle Rae and Carole King, among others.
During the fourth hour of the six hour event, performances by the musical artists will commence. During the fifth hour, Tyler and fellow American Idol judge Randy Jackson will visit the show. The sixth and final hour will wrap up with a patriotic medley that will feature hundreds of performers.
MDA's Show of Strength airs at 7 PM EST on over 150 stations across the country and on the MDA website (MDA.org) September 2.
