Colt Ford, who is a former golf instructor, is hosting his First Annual Colt Ford & Friends Celebrity Golf Classic at Chateau Elan near Atlanta, Georgia on September 24.
Proceeds from the tourney go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a pioneering organization in the research and treatment of children with cancer and other diseases.
"I could not think of a better way to raise money than playing golf with a group of my good buddies," says Ford. "I really wanted to help contribute to the efforts of the amazing doctors, researchers and staff at St. Jude. I am thankful for the opportunity to give back to such an outstanding organization."
Among the stars signed up for the charity event are Darius Rucker, Jake Owen, Justin Moore, Jamey Johnson, Jeff Foxworthy and John Michael Montgomery.
