Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler will appear at the grand opening of Mick Fleetwood's new restaurant in Maui this week (August 24). Tyler will join Mick and bluesman Johnny Lang at Fleetwood's on Front St. for a live performance.
The trio previously worked together in the group M.O.B., with which they recorded a cover of the ZZ Top classic, "Sharp Dressed Man."
"Johnny and Steven and myself played on the ZZ Top song, so we all know each other," Mick says. "Steven is ecstatic, he desperately wanted to be here and help out. He's having a nice break from a hectic tour schedule [with Aerosmith]. It's incredible luck that Steven will be on island, so we're all happy."
Aerosmith's first album of original material since 2001, Music from Another Dimension, is due November 6.
