Online job vacancies in Australia declined notably in July, the latest report from the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations revealed Wednesday.
The seasonally adjusted Internet Vacancy Index fell 3.7 percent month-on-month in July.
Vacancies decreased in all eight occupational groups except for community and personal service workers. Strongest decrease was recorded for technicians and trades workers.
Year-on-year, the index fell 16.3 percent. In trend terms, the index decreased 3.1 percent month-on-month in July and has declined 15.6 percent over the year.
