Computer and printer maker Hewlett-Packard Co. (HPQ) is expected to report results for the third quarter. The company is expected to earn $0.98 per share on revenues of $30.10 billion. In the year-ago quarter, the company reported earnings of $1.10 per share on revenues of $31.19 billion. The shares closed Tuesday at $19.93. Teen-apparel retailer American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (AEO) is slated to report results for the second quarter. The company is expected to report a profit of $0.21 per share versus $0.10 per share last year, with revenues estimated at $719.29 million. The stock closed Tuesday at $20.83. (The stock rose almost 15% in Q2; MA(50)- $20.18; MA(100)- $19.38; 52-wk H/L $21.53/$10.00)

Guess' Inc. (GES) will report second-quarter results today. The company is expected to earn $0.50 per share compared to $0.84 per share a year ago, while quarterly revenues are anticipated to decline to $629.95 million from last year's $677.16 million. The company's shares closed Tuesday's session at $33.10. (The stock dropped around 2% in Q2; MA(50)- $29.38; MA(100)- $28.69; 52-wk H/L $37.15/$24.23)

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. (KKD) is scheduled to report second-quarter results. Earnings and revenue for the quarter are expected to be $0.05 per share and $103.74 million respectively. A year earlier, the Winston-Salem, North Carolina-based company earned $0.06 per share on revenues of $97.95 million. The company's shares closed Tuesday's session at $6.82. Chico's FAS Inc. (CHS), Collective Brands, Inc. (PSS), Eaton Vance Corp. (EV), Focus Media Holding Ltd. (FMCN), Hain Celestial Group, Inc. (HAIN), International Rectifier Corp. (IRF), Pacific Sunwear of California Inc. (PSUN), Semtech Corp. (SMTC) and Synopsys Inc. (SNPS) are also expected to report their results today.
