Phil Vassar has teamed up with the NFL's Tennessee Titans to perform during every one of the football team's home games of the 2012 season.

"We're bringing together two of my favorite things - music and football," said Vassar. "I've been a Titans fan since they first came to Tennessee, and they are my team. We're excited about getting out there to rock the fans, and set the stage for the Titans to take over."

LP Field, home of the Titans, added a performance stage in its north end zone where Vassar and his band will roost, playing songs before kick-off, during breaks and at half-time.

"We really wanted to improve the fan's experience at LP Field and tried to set Nashville apart from any other NFL venue," said a Titans rep. "The obvious choice was music, so we added the stage to give Titans fans an even more enjoyable atmosphere on game days."
