The US dollar edged down against major currencies after the releasing of the minutes of its July 31st-August 1st Federal Open Market Committee meeting at 2:00 pm ET Wednesday.
At present, the greenback is trading near a new multi-day low of 78.96 against the Japanese yen, a fresh multi-month low of 1.5833 versus the British pound, new multi-week lows of 0.9600 versus the franc and 1.2515 against the euro.
