Canadian recording artist Tamia has released her fifth studio album Beautiful Surprise. It was released by Plus 1 Music Group and EMI.
Beautiful Surprise is the singer's first release in six years, since 2006's Between Friends. For the new album, she worked with Claude Kelly, The Runners, Carvin & Ivan, Salaam Remi, and J. Phoenix, among others.
To date, there has only been one single released off of the record, being the title track. The album itself reached number one on R&B iTunes Charts within two days of its release.
