South Korea August PPI +0.7% On Month

Producer prices in South Korea were up a seasonally adjusted 0.7 percent on month in August, the Bank of Korea said on Monday. That followed the 0.5 percent contraction in July.

On a yearly basis, producer prices were up 0.3 percent after easing 0.1 percent in the previous month.

By individual categories, Agricultural, forestry and marine products jumped 5.5 percent, while manufacturing industry products added +0.6 percent, electric power, water and gas supply climbed 2.7 percent and services collected 0.1 percent.
