Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has named-and-shamed Bon Jovi as the worst band they've ever played with. During a recent interview, the staff at Kerrang! asked the rocker to open up about the best and worst bands with which they've shared the stage.

"The best [band we've shared a stage with] is probably The Hives, they're a great live band. [As for the worst] Oh boy, I have to go with Bon Jovi," Billie Joe explained.

They also asked the rocker to reveal the strangest rumor he's ever heard about himself. By far, he says, the strangest thing is when he heard that he was dead:

''I was in Los Angeles recording 'American Idiot', and I got a call from my wife freaking out. It was just internet stuff gone wild," he joked.

The first edition of the band's coming album trilogy ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, ¡Tré! will be released on September 24.
