The Canadian dollar edged down against major currencies after the releasing of manufacturing shipments data for the month of July at about 8:30 am ET Friday.
At present, the loonie is trading near 1.2666 against the euro, 0.9679 versus the US dollar, 1.0239 against the Australian dollar and 80.75 versus the yen.
