The US dollar advanced to a 4-day high of 0.9724 against its Canadian counterpart around 4:25 am ET Monday, compared to 0.9720 hit late New York Friday.
The greenback-loonie pair bottomed out in its retracement levels below 0.9650 on Friday from its early June peak of 1.0449. The next barrier for the pair is seen its 23.6 percent retracement level at 0.9830.
