Tesla Motors, Inc. (TSLA) is rising over 7 percent to $32.75.

LDK Solar Co., Ltd. (LDK) is falling 4 percent to $1.19. The company's second quarter net loss widened from the year-ago period. Net sales for the quarter plunged from the prior year period and also missed the consensus estimate. The company also lowered its full-year revenue forecast.
