Folk legend Donovan has confirmed that he will give three U.S. performances this fall. The run will kick off with a special appearance at the Hamilton in Washington, D.C. on October 6.

The aging psychedelic songwriter opened up on his live performance schedule with ultimateclassicrock.com in an interview and said that his touring ability isn't what it used to be:

"I'm stretching my vocal muscles, just feeling myself out. An actual tour is uncertain," he told the site of the three-date mini tour. He adds that these shows are "more like a party as the real tour follows in the spring of 2013."

Donovan Concert Dates:

Oct. 6 — Washington, D.C. — The Hamilton

Oct. 19 — New York City, N.Y. — The Ethical Cultural Hall

Oct. 28 — Los Angeles, Calif. — The El Rey
