Jon Stewart and Bill O'Reilly have agreed to square off for a debate on October 6. The pair have appeared as special guests on their respective talk shows, Fox's "The O'Reilly Factor" and Comedy Central's "The Daily Show."
Now the longtime sparring partners will appear in a free web stream live from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. The 90-minute debate will serve as a charity fundraiser and has been dubbed "The Rumble In The Air-Conditioned Auditorium."
O'Reilly wasted no time in firing shots at Stewart about the event, commenting on his show this week:
"In order to illuminate the vital issues associated with the upcoming presidential election, Stewart and I will debate man-to-man, eye-to-eye," he said. "Well, not really. He's a tiny guy."
