Blake Shelton has made membership to his fan club free for anyone interested, according to an interview published recently in Country Weekly.

"It's not gonna cost you people a dime ever again, and you're going to have the same access to pre-sales, and everything that you've already had up until now will not change. So, don't freak out."

Shelton added that there will be no significant changes made to the club aside from getting rid of the membership fee:

"All the hard-core BS'ers out there, I don't want you going, 'Oh my God!' It's not going away. It's gonna be better. It's gonna be free, and there's gonna be all the details on the website, on blakeshelton.com very soon . . . It's really not a big deal. It's just gonna be free from now on, and I think that's pretty cool, especially with the way the economy is today."
