Fiona Apple was arrested in Sierra Blanca, Texas, a Mexican-American border stop, for possession of hashish and marijuana. Authorities say they found the controlled substance on the "Criminal" singer's tour bus.
She was arrested and is currently being detained at Hudspeth County jail.
Previous stars to be arrested for drugs in Sierra Blanca include Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg and Armie Hammer.
Pending her release, Apple's tour is scheduled to pick up September 21 at Houston, Texas' Bayou Music Center and continue through October 21 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's STAGE AE.
Her latest record, The Idler Wheel . . ., was released June 19 through Epic Records. Apple's fourth studio album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, selling 72,000 copies its first week.
