Justin Bieber is the hottest artist under the age of 21, according to a newly published list by Billboard magazine. The Bieb, 18, beat out stiff competition from the likes of One Direction, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus and his own gal pal, Selena Gomez.
He "remains more powerful in the pop universe than ever," Billboard said, adding that he "is the supernova of teen pop stars with charisma, popularity and swagger to spare . . . it's Biebs' world, and we're lucky to live in it."
It is the second year in a row that Bieber has earned the honor. Perhaps rightfully so, as he has released two number one albums — Under the Mistletoe and Believe — in the past year.
Earlier this year, Bieber was named the second highest paid star by Forbes magazine, earning $55 million from May 2011 to May 2012. He was led only by Taylor Swift in that category.
