In early European deals on Monday, the U.S. dollar extended upward trading against the Canadian dollar. The greenback hit 0.9803 against the loonie at 4:50 am ET, its highest level since September 20 and the next upside target level for the greenback-loonie pair is seen at 0.985. The pair traded at 0.9769 at Friday's close.
