Generac Holdings Inc. (GNRC) announced Monday morning that it now expects to report third quarter adjusted EPS of $0.72 to $0.77. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $0.46. Full year 2012 adjusted EPS is now expected to be between $2.65 and $2.70, compared to the consensus estimate of $2.39.
Generac Holdings gapped open sharply higher Monday, but retreated a bit during the first half of the morning. The stock finished up by 2.14 at $25.03, with volume at a 5-month high. Generac rose to over a 3-month high and re-crossed its 200-day moving average.
