NZ Dollar Slides Further Against Majors

The New Zealand dollar edge down further against major opponents in New York morning trading on Thursday.

At 10:00 am ET, the kiwi declined to a fresh 2-day low of 1.2512 versus the Australian dollar, new multi-week lows of 0.8168 against the US dollar and 1.5903 versus the euro, compared to yesterday's close of 1.2471, 0.8197 and 1.5755, respectively.

Against its Japanese counterpart, the kiwi also traded further lower in today's early deals and fell to 64.21 by about 10:00 am ET from previous session's high of 64.65.

Presently, the NZ unit is worth 0.8193 against the greenback, 1.2492 versus the Aussie, 1.5871 against the euro and 64.33 versus the yen.
