How to Destroy Angels, the Trent Reznor led group, has released the lead single, "Keep It Together," from their forthcoming EP, An Omen. It is the group's first release since its 2010 self-titled EP and its 2011 release of The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo soundtrack.

The band, comprised of Reznor, his wife Mariqueen Maandig and collaborators Atticus Ross and Rob Sheridan, signed a deal with Columbia records last month, a move which Reznor says (via Facebook) will get them greater exposure:

". . . it really comes down to us experimenting and trying new things to see what best serves our needs. Complete independent releasing has its great points but also comes with shortcomings."

An Omen, due on November 13, will be followed by a full-length release from the band, due sometime in 2013.
