Green Day have released extensive footage from a recent show they played at New York City's Irving Plaza. The 40-song set took place one week before Billie Joe Armstrong's meltdown at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas.
The band posted the final 20 minutes of the show which included hits like "Hitchin' a Ride," "Letterbomb" and "American Idiot."
"Do you want a f---ing party, or do you want a celebration?" he screamed during "Letterbomb" before jumping out into the moshpit.
According to an exec at Green Day's label, there isn't a precise timetable set for Armstrong's rehab stint and return to the stage:
"He's in the middle of some really big things, but we're going to pull through. Green Day has never been a band that sits still, but sometimes you have to step back and let life go on rather than try to control everything."
