Chris Brown launched his Symphonic Love Foundation with a bang, hosting an arts festival at the Lafayette Recreation Center in Los Angeles on Monday (November 6).
The Foundation, whose mission is to support and create "arts programs for youth while encouraging every day public service, respect and kindness," was inspired by Breezy's mom, Joyce Hawkins, who worked at a non-profit social center herself, and whose example inspired Brown.
According to Brown, the website for the organization is a one-stop shop for the artistically inclined:
"The site has resources where you can immediately get inspired and get support for all kinds of difficulties, and you can use your creativity to take you to a different world."
"Art," adds Brown, "influences every aspect of my life completely . . . Focusing on positivity and love helps you have respect for yourself and others."
