The Australian dollar lost ground against the New Zealand dollar in Europe on Wednesday.
The aussie that closed Tuesday's trading at 1.2717 against the kiwi slipped to a 5-day low of 1.2684 around 6:25 am ET. The next downside target level for the aussie-kiwi pair is likely seen at 1.26.
