Kerala-based mobile internet company MobME Wireless Ltd. announced its plans to go for an initial public offering or IPO
MobME Wireless will become the first student-incubated company in Thiruvananthapuram to go for a listing, Chief Executive Officer Sanjay Vijayakumar said.
"We are vying to become the first IT company to get listed on the SME exchange of the National Stock Exchange," he said.
IDBI Capital Market Services is the merchant banker to the issue. Kochi-based Gyan Magnus Associates is the advisor and Desai & Diwanji, legal advisers.
MobME has an in-house research and development arm and boasts clients such as Vodafone, Airtel, Aircel, Idea, BSNL and MTNL: media companies such as NDTV and Network18; and enterprises such as Kerala Tourism, Axis Bank and HCL Technologies.
It also works closely with the Governments of Kerala, Goa and Nagaland and Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
