R. R. Donnelley & Sons Company (RRD) announced that Daniel Knotts is being named Chief Operating Officer, succeeding John Paloian. Knotts joined RR Donnelley in 1986 and has served in a variety of accounting, operations, sales leadership and general management roles with progressively more responsibility, including as CEO of RR Donnelley's global Financial Services offering.
Knotts has most recently been the company's Group President, with responsibility for global sales, operations, information technology, logistics, financial services, business process outsourcing operations, strategic sourcing and Environmental, Health and Safety.
